David Karpf

Dave Karpf is an Associate Professor in the George Washington University School of Media & Public Affairs. He teaches and conducts research on strategic political communication in the digital age. He is the author of two books — The MoveOn Effect: The Unexpected Transformation of American Political Advocacy and Analytic Activism: Digital Listening and the New Political Strategy. He is currently working on a book about the history of the digital future. He is best known for that one time he made a joke on Twitter about Bret Stephens. He is slightly less well known for his podcast with Peter Loge.
